Abstract

In January 2025, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of Bengkulu Province is 0.09 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 105.33. Bengkulu City's y-on-y inflation was 0.09 percent with a CPI of 105.38 and Muko Muko Regency's y-on-y inflation was 0.08 percent with a CPI of 105.17.
y-on-y inflation in Bengkulu Province occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by the increase in most of the price indices of expenditure groups, namely: food, beverage and tobacco groups by 2.52 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.75 percent; health group by 2.77 percent; transportation group by 1.06 percent; recreation, sports, and culture groups by 1.60 percent; education group by 1.91 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.47 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 4.90 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 10.04 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.86 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.41 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate in January 2025 for Bengkulu Province is 0.59 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate for January 2025 is 0.59 percent.
